Sonic Advance delivers back the fun and exciting high speed running platformer that deferred Sonic from any other games. Story: Eggman has stolen the 7 Chaos emeralds and is planning on using them to conquer the world, its up to Sonic and his friends to stop him. Game design: Just like the old days, the game graphics is just like how the classic sonic world looked like, for example classics like green hill are back, with their square shaped grass, lots of summersaults, spikes and bouncers. Sonic still has his looks from the Sonic Adventure games which makes the game even more appealing than the old days.

Game play: You can play as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles or Amy. Each character has their abilities but all of them will be basically running around from one end of a stage to the goal point, collecting rings and medals along the way. The game has been split into zones, each Zone has 2 courses, from where you can have your high speed fun and by the end of each zone you will fight Eggman in many of his different machines. The game also includes a Chao garden, where you can raise your Chao for fun or you can connect your GBA with a Gamecube and play Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. You can then use your Chao to compete on racing tournaments and fighting tournaments. Sound: The new tones added to the game bring the old classic Sonic feelings back to the surface. You will definitely enjoy the music as well as the old classic sound effects. Sonic Advance is definitely something for Sonic and platformer fans to enjoy. Although the game does bring back some old Sonic classics its not as long as its ancestors and it will share the same problems, you will definitely die a lot later on in the game, since there are going to be a lot of pits, so it all comes down to track memorising.
Get the game if you have a GBA or a Nintendo DS!
