In Sonic Advance 3 you run with a partner to the end and to beat the boss at the end of the levels. You start out with only a few other characters you unlock more as you play through. During the missions you can find chao which ones you find all of them keys will start appearing in that world which unlocks a special room in which you fly on a air plane and collect rings, and if you collect enough you get a chaos emerald which can be viewed in a chao world where you can see all of your chaos and your the emerald. You can play as any character you which also gives you the abilities depending on the team, like if you pair Tails and Knuckles, Knuckles can do a uppercut. The bosses consist of Eggmans robot minion to actually finding him. After beating some bosses you may get a new character, but you must have Sonic as your character. The enemies are mainly robots in the form of animals or spikes. There are also power ups to find like one gives you invincible for a short time while others collect rings faster and farther. Rings count as your health which by hitting a hazard you lose all of them, sending them everywhere. This game if fun, but does get repetitive after a while.
