Addictive Multiplayer

Well this review is mostly for the Online play but the single player play is still great I guess. But SOCOM 2 in my opinion is one of the most addictive online games out there for the PS2. Back in the day there would be about 30,000 players online each day. But you know its been 5 years and there are more newer games. Now there is around 900 at peak. But It takes strategy and skill to be a good player. When you first play the online portion of the game, it will probably take you a couple of hours to learn the maps and the strengths and weaknesses of the guns. When you have it down, you could be a decent socom player. It takes alot of playing time to be good at that game. I should know, I've been playing since last June and it took me a while to master the game, although I still wouldn't call myself a master. All in all, if you havent played socom 2 online, you should give it a try. The game is like a drug, it may piss you off cuz you keep dying and not liking the stats you get, but you will always feel like you dont want to drop the controller.
