Immerse yourself...

Immerse yourself because if you play this game in any other fashion then the one intended, it will probably be a very horrible experience. The same was of a sniper game released in the original xbox. Make no mistake, this game definitely has its moments.

When the game was purchased I immediately told myself that I would not let this game provide the entertaining moments for me. Do to the rumors, I decided to seek them out. For one, the game does function as a sniper game. It takes you a long time to complete objectives, but I found it easier to get things done. It is unfortunate that the A.I instead of having advanced equipment to seek you out, it has superhuman senses. This becomes extremely annoying if you could imagine.

The gameplay can be very good if you ignore a portion of the issues that take away from what was intended. It is a sniper game after all. So the throwing knives, one hit leg kill shots, ladder climbing without hands, no true stealth implementation, etc.... You know what i mean. The game can get interesting with its combat chatter and cinematic moments. Not surprisingly, the sniping aspect of this game is also good. I simply could never comprehend why the developer included a few assault missions, if the missions themselves were going to feel added on, as a last resort at restoring a players love for the snipe/kill style. The assault missions should have been more methodical and immersive.

The multiplayer can also get very interesting. The sniping is good but occasionally you have your COD boys running around attempting to rush the snipers. It is buggy but nothing that can't be overcome. No complexity here. Just a very descent sniper on sniper D-match.

Without spoiling it, I would say the game does have good moments. In many ways, it is better than the other sniper game we all grew to love. But immerse yourself people and remember that this is not COD, BC, MOH, or GRAW. It is what it is, indeed.
