So am I the only one looking forward to playing this game?

I have the first Sniper: Ghost Warrior and I thought that it was really good, and Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 seems like it will be better.
So am I the only one looking forward to playing this game?

i am. i still play Sniper:GW and the original Sniper Elite (when it chooses to work). i HATE SE:V2. X-Ray kills do not make a game fresh and exciting. especially when you can see almost every X kill in the first level. plus enemies spawning when you pass an invisible waypoint ruined it.

i had faith in V2 and bought it day 1. sold it a week later.

Nope, can't wait for it, finished paying off the Bulletproof SteelBook Edition at Gamestop Monday, and found out my Gamestop is doing Midnight release because the new God of War coming out on the same night, have also been playing Sniper: Ghost Warrior.

That is one of my biggest peeves with games! Rainbow 6 Vegas was like that and it was such a let down.

Thanks for the warning. Doubtful they take that out in Silver Star edition, now I know to avoid that game.

its not that SE:V2 is a bad game, its just the fact that they somehow took a step back from the Xbox/PS2/PC version. when you have games like Mass Effect 1 that had hours of voice over, NPCs that, for the most part, all had unique appearances and more environment variations then V2, its kind of sad.

the fact that Rebellion couldnt do what they did in '05 with a game released in '12 with all the tech advancements since then shows that they dont give a crap or just wanted to coast on the cult status of SE1.

I disagree. I think it's improved on pretty much every aspect except for length.
