Title says it all..not only did they try to rip off bullet cam but they succeeded in failing at that with quick cams on head shots only..nice environment thanks to cry engine 3 but the SNIPER feel of the game is non existent. AI was spotting me through thick cover. And being hit accurately from 800m by a fellow with an automatic was really annoying. Bottom line... half ass attempt on the developers part.

And Sniper Elite had it before Sniper Ghost Warrior, try again ;-)

iRobotic user posted...He said v2.
Yeah he did, because it is a better game than S:GW1 and S:GW2, not because of the bulletcam.
Would be stupid to play Sniper Elite on the Ps2/Wii now wouldn't it ;-)

Okay Troll, go back to your cave :-)
Remember to write up Max Payne in your next reply too, or even the sucky Matrix games.

iRobotic user posted...Max Payne however didn't have it until 3.
Every game that was made before S:GW with bullet cams had it BEFORE S:GW Einstein :-)
Thought Max Payne 3 looked better, guess I was wrong:

Forget about who CREATED the bullet cam, but the bullet cam in SE v2 is SO SO SO much better. You actually see all the damage your bullet does to enemy bodies, it's pretty cool. This game shows you nothing, it's pretty useless. Not even damage models.
Overall, though, this game is about what I expected: a mediocre FPS, although the graphics are nice. I'm still having fun with it. Sniper Elite is far from perfect but definitely better than this, though.

Loved sniper elite 1&2 problem with 2 is finding a good co-op partner. Problem with ghost sniper is that it fails at sniping...yes u can turn up the difficulty but its no where near the experience u get from sniper elite. I hated how it corralled u to a sniping point...I want to make my own sniping spot. A true sniper never stays in one damn spot for that long..

SE1 is awesome SE2 sucks.
as ive said before, enemies spawning behind you, sound masking all of a sudden being useless even though mortar shells/engine tests that covered shots are still happening, X-ray kills are boring after seeing them all IN THE FIRST LEVEL and has the same "machine gunners can snipe you" as S:GW1.

Isn't that about the same as SE2??SE2 forces us to fight in small/linear maps.

Lol and killing about 30 AI from one spot isn't corralling u into one spot? At least in se2 I'm not stuck in over watch half the game. I admit se2 xray cam was old after awhile but at least I got to see my handy work when I pulled off good shots. Nothing beats shooting one soldier in the knee then watching the same bullet go through and set off another soldiers grenade. I want a sniper game where its a one target maybe two mission with wide open terrain and some decent co-op. AI spread around to thwart me and not being led by the hand most of the game!

I think Max Payne 3 does it the best. It may not show bones breaking or the x-ray, but it shows the bullet rip into the person, leave a gaping wound, and blood spurts from the wound after the person has already hit the ground.
You don't see those details in most shooters.

and unbeatable body physics/reactions, wish we see more of this in future games.
This was also mp3s downside since after landing awkwardly after a shootdodge you were as good as dead since max would realistically fumble around trying to get back on his feet. It looked awesome but was annoying as heck for a max payne game, since you would be dead before you could get back on your feet and return fire.

after having played v2 for awhile now, I can honestly say that I prefer this game's sniping more. it feels more authentic, all the way around, to me. I like that I have to actually squeeze the trigger rather than a quick pull, as well as factoring I. the weather. v2 doesn't have either of those aspects.

There is minimal aspect of stealth in V2 when sniping. (minus shooting during a loud sequence which only happens a few times)
But I agree, V2 is a vastly superior game, which is sad considering how poorly made it is.
