It's as fun as it ever was.

User Rating: 8.4 | Smash T.V. X360
Smash TV is plainly awesome.
I remember having a blast with it when I was a kid, playin' it on my NES.
I remember having a blast with it playing some compilation a few years back on the PS2.
And I'm sure as hell having a blast with it now on my 360.

The gameplay remains as good as ever in my oppinion.
When is blasting wave after wave of foes not fun?
Well, theres probably plenty of times.
But in Smash TV it's a.. Smash! *ba-boom-tish*
Of course, it's always more fun with a friend.
Simply put, this game is 10x better in Co-op.

The graphics, while not terrific by todays standard still have charm and adequetly portray what they need too.
The audio hasn't changed a bit, for better or worse.
The overtly digitalized voice of the announcer can be somewhat off-putting, but not a major detractor.

My main beef with the game is that some of the achivements are hard to unlock.
Finish without continuing?
I don't think I can even get through the first level without using a continue, the game being as chaotic as it is.

Nonetheless, if you played Smash TV in your youth and enjoyed it then, you'll likely find something to enjoy now.
