Is the AR necessary?

I'm in love with this game so far. However, in Go West Young Raccoon, I cannot for the life of me find the 30th Clue Bottle, and it appears there are no more Treasures to be found either (barring ones probably blocked off by costume obstacles).

When I read the manual, it seemed as though having a PS Vita was necessary for 100% completion through the AR tech. But, surely that isn't the case... right?

Having a Vita isn't necessary, it just helps a lot and makes the task much easier.

I am having the same issue as Eco. I have been looking for this elusive 30th clue bottle for the past two days. Please!! I beg of anyone! If you know where this last clue bottle is please let us know.
