The live-action trailer for United Front's freshly announced Sleeping Dogs packs quite a punch.
Well im down with stylized trailers and what not, and this reminded me alot like Deus Ex trailers. Only problem is this doesnt really show anything about the game. Same with the Deus Ex trailers I thought that game was gonna go so deep into conspiracy government and whatever other seedy stuff is out there but I either missed something or I dunno but Deus Ex while a good game imo seemed shallow and missing something. But hey thats just my opinion lets see if square can deliver. If not maybe they should look into making movies.
Usually when real movies have trailers like this they turn out bad, stupid & not worth their 2 cents. So...
Awesome trailer, the game looks promising too. One of the RAREST game in the western media, a game featuring an Asian (American) MAN protagonist. Extremely rare in the western media world, to see an asian american playing the main hero not the bad guy, or an asian nerd...
thank god True crime 3 is comin out. i was really lookin forward to this game & felt really bad when it was cancelled, but now its back with a lil bit of changes , i'm gonna love it
Looks Promising . Let's just hope it all comes together to form a game that can live up to its potential .
What's the point of making everyone excited with this great action trailer, and when we get the game in hands it's nothing like that in graphics terms!?
Didnt really care about True Crime, just seemed like very poor versions of GTA. And not as much fun as Saints. But after seeing this trail i might give it a look if Square Enix improves the game play and tweaks the graphics/engine. I might buy it depending on review but May Payne 3 is coming out and that's where I'm going for my action fix. Rockstar never fails!
@Fredde_83 I think you're right. IMO the trailer was just absolutely epic. Now the dev's have this totally INCREDIBLE trailer to live up to in a player-controlled game... think a trailer of this proportion was a bad move TBH
Dam! One of the best trailers I think I've ever seen. And the twist at the end?! Ok SE, you got my attention.
@AloeVera4 TBH I think this will be a game. The whole real life thing is just for publicity. I don't think United Front have it in them.
If I wanted to watch a movie, I'd WATCH a movie! I play a game to escape reality! I make my own characters....and live through their actions. A live-action game just takes away that "fantasy" world feel that people escape to games for. Had this been on any game engine....it would be awesome. However, live performers rob us from a total escape. These people are actors...they're getting paid to do this. They have normal lives....kids...budget issues...etc. Imagine if the main character from Skyrim was live action....and all the while you'd be thinking "oh boy...I wonder what kind of car this guy drives?" It takes away from the immersive experience. I know I'm alone on this....so flame on...I don't care.
What's this game and why's it say it's under True Crime? This is done by square enix, not craptivision..I'm so confused.
TRUE CRIME: HONG KONG! Glad U R back! liked the gameplay trailers soo much back than... was so upset when they cancelled it. I really wanna play this game.. hope its like the old gameplay but better!
