This game really grows on you the more you play
However with the crazy weapons, fun side quests, the variety of the missions, all set with a beautiful city I couldn't help loving this game. I loved customizing features as well. Decking out my character for different in-game attributes was neat. The customizations was really fun as well and added to the gameplay. I wish there was more freedom for changing the colors though (Saints Row 3 does it well). The combat gets more fun with the more moves you unlock. The city is fun to explore and it was cool seeing a setting in an Eastern culture.
Give the game a shot, I give it a 9 just because it's fun and a really fresh idea. It's a really solid game that doesn't take itself too seriously but still has some surprisingly touching moments. The minimap is still a drag though.
