xbox 360 controller for windows freezes

    Hi im playing this game with a xbox 360 controller for windows but every now and then it freezes or some times dont work at all in Game. It works in main menu no problem but in game it freezes. Ive set my settings to controller in the options but it still does it. Any help thanks.
