15th Anniversary of Spyro anyone?

Switching two parts of each Skylander toy seems like a lot of fun but shouldn't they take the 15th anniversary of Spyro into consideration?

They might do a lightcore version and a series 3 version of Spyro, believe me, Spyro's a huge part of Skylanders. The concept of a game where toys come to life isn't the only thing that makes Skylanders popular. I'd like to see them make classic Spyro into a figure during the launch of Swap Force.

I would not be surprised if Spyro does not get a S3 repose.
Activision quite noticably shunned Spyro in Giants. He's going to be one of the last S2 Skylanders released, and he is no longer featured in the title or any of the cutscenes. He's not even in any of the commecials for Giants (unless you happen to see his S2 model in one of the wide shots).

Skylanders wouldn't be complete without Spyro, after all he's pretty much the primary star of Skylanders, Tree Rex however has stolen the spotlight and one of those Swap force Skylanders might do so too. I was looking forward to seeing old Spyro characters being revealed as core Skylanders like Elora and Hunter. Swap Force MUST have the essence of Spyro the Dragon in it!

I agree with Ross above, unlike Terrafin and SlamBam (S1 characters who have gained a LOT of popularity), Spyro seems like he would definitely be one of the ones to bite the dust.
for his 15th Anniversary, they might create a game in his honor though, as a spinoff of this/continuation of his original series.

Better yet, what if all the other Skylanders had their own games? I know Cynder was with Spyro but I'm thinking she should have her own original series.
