i decided to get skylanders giants. which of the new figures do you recommend?

besides tree rex (who comes with the game) i ordered jet-vac, fright rider & bouncer. i'm considering pop fizz, hot dog, swarm, crusher & shroomboom. i will definitely get thumpback if i can find him at a decent price.

i hope i'll be able to use all of my old skylanders in the new game, because many of my favorites (camo, dino-rang, voodood & warnado) weren't issued for giants.

so... what are your opinions?

You can use any of the first figures in Giants, including the dead 8 (the ones who aren't being re-released).
As for new figures, I like most of them except for Shroomboom. Although I haven't played with him much so I could be wrong in that judgement.
For giants, definitely get Eye-Brawl and Thumpback when you find them, both are awesome imo. Also like Swarm a lot.

I'm liking Hot Dog best of the new figures. Unfortunately, you're stuck buying a battle pack to get him for the time being.

All of them! MWAHAAHAAHAAAAA...

Really though, I'm digging Hot Dog a lot too. There aren't many characters I've bought I haven't liked to some extent, and I think I'm at 34 right now.

For the Newlanders, Pop Fizz is really good to me too. I don't like Sprocket as much as I thought I would, Flashwing is probably my best and most reliable fighter. Chill is cool also.
