Not seeing why anything really needs to be spent on Marie...all of her work is complete aside from the story and maybe some moveset tweaking to make her more feasible as a playable character as opposed to an endless ranged spammer.

My vote is going on her as well, she's just too badass. Plus, i'm a Cody player to the bone, so her convict style charmed me the moment i saw her in Parasoul's story.
Speaking of which, her quotes, poses and overall story versus Parasoul would be sooooo awesome.

I will also vote for Marie, she is one of my favorite characters in the game (And I was really interested in her backstory.) and I am still pretty sad that she wasn't made playable.
After her they can put in any character they want and I will be happy, I don't really care that much about Big Band, and Panzerfaust... well having a Tank on his hand doesn't really excite me that much, the Shark guy Stanley... well I would prefer a Fish person who looks more aesthetically pleasing (He looks just like a Shark's head sticking out of a lab coat, not that exciting to me.) I mean as long as they are fun then I don't really care, but the top characters I want are Squigly, and Marie.

How do you guys know of the other characters in the Skullgirls universe? Is there a comic book about this or something? I tried looking up Skullgirls to see if it was more than just a fighting game but that's all that I'm getting.

Well, a lot of it is information revealed by the game's creators. I think there's also an artbook floating around.

There's nothing wrong with the game retaining an all female cast, just as there's nothing wrong with them adding male characters. People should quit whining about this stuff. The sexism stuff was bad enough when the game came out, let's not drag that crap in again.
