So for some reason Skullgirls isn't available on the New Zealand PS Store. I've emailed the publishers and received no response. So what I was wondering is if I were to make an American PSN account on my Playstation to purchase and download the game, will I have any problems playing the game online?

I played the Japanese demo of Anarchy Reigns online and it was fine (and a blast).
It'll work fine, I just think you have to log into your American account to play SG specifically.
