This is in incredible game that truly shows Sega's genius in an adventure game.

Sega has been around making various types of games for years around. And now, they've struck gold with Skies of Arcadia. A tale about an adventurous kid, Vyse, and his best friend Aika. They end up making friends on their adventure that turns into something more than a quest for treasure. The gameplay is what you would expect from a great RPG. There is some small amount of action on the side like from time to time the characters will run up and get close to enemies but other then that it is basic RPG fighting 101. Each enemy has a certain color and different color weapons (you can change at will during battle) can do more or less damage against certain colored enemies. There are also an assortment of ship battles that occur while playing throughout the game. The graphics are surprisingly in tact. By that I mean they are bright vivid and are always visually stunning. Comparable to some Final Fantasy games even. The sound is also very nicely done. The battle music is something that will fit the environment you're in and is a nice thing to get to bob your head to. This goes along with the sound effects as well which sound very realistic. If you love RPGs and have a Dreamcast you need to get htis game. And if you don't have a Dreamcast but have a Gamecube then get that version because while it's not as good as this it's still an awesome game.
