This amazing RPG finds it's way to the RPG-starved Gameube. Thank God that it's a masterpiece.
The gameplay is carefully thought-out, with a realistic and interesting battle engine, not like other RPGs where you find battles tedious. I also love the ship-battle aspect, which brings even more fun into the game.
The graphics are not the best on Gameube overall, I admit. Since the game was originally on the Dreamcast, the graphics have pretty much stayed the same. However, in some cases the graphics look very realistic, like in the special cannon moves and special attack moves.
The score is very well done, with epic, sad, dark, happy, exotic and many other types of music to your ears. The only downside is that the music is sometimes a bit out of place.
This game is crammed with all sorts of things to do. The main quest itself is about 40 hours long, but if you want to do everything the game has to offer, like Bounties, Moonfish hunts, Disovery hunts, Cham hunts, get all the crew members and special titles, expect over 90 hours.
Thank you for reading my review, I hope it is useful to you.
