Great game. Loads of bugs though...

Many people have played the classic skateboarding franchise "Tony Hawks Pro-skater" to the latest "Tony Hawk's Ride". The majority of those games were made very badly with not much effort put into them at all. Then SKATE came out. The new design of the trick system was so amazing i nearly dropped on the floor. Sure the game has lots of bugs, but it makes up for that with pure fun.
The graphics are very smooth. There are some times then you bail your character goes out of whack but its not a major issue. At times the frame rate will drop a bit making the game run a bit slower but it can be easily ignored.
The gameplay is fun and immersive. The trick system is new so it adds a large amount of extra fun to the game. There are some challenges that you have to complete to get farther into the storyline that are very frustrating and hard. But once you overcome them you feel as if you have ran a marathon and won.
The sound is good. The quality is great. Theres a large amount of music EA put into the game and its all customizable. The characters voices are good. They sound like the real pro's.
Overall i give this game a 8.5/10. I picked it up at EB Games for $15 used. Thanks for reading and have a good day.
