im a big fan of the Tony Hawk franchise and i decided to give EA Skate a try after all this time its been out. well i will say that this game does give that realistic feel to skating. being a skater myself, i agree that it captures that essence of the sport. but when you don't count the gameplay, you really dont have anything else. the plot is same old same old. You star as a skater out to become big. yeah you can make videos, but i think the video editor from Tony Hawk's Proving Ground was a lot funner to use. the graphics are good and up-to-date. however, i hated that you can't create your own skate area, which i hope this new Skate 3 game will have. also you cant edit your skater as deeply as the Tony Hawk games (with the exception of Project 8). The big city to skate in is pretty cool. its a way bigger city than Project 8 and Proving Ground's cities combined. overall, this game has some serious gameplay fun, but aside from the gameplay, there really isn't anyhting else to it
