Skate it has the best control layout of almost any game I've played. It is certainly better than the old tony hawk games. But there is almost no storyline and the career is puny. After about like 5 challenges, the game says "Okay, Your're done go skate" and there's nothing else to do. If you're a die hard skater and will enjoy just skating around a tiny level for a couple hours, I suggest you wait for the price to drop on this one. The only reason just skating around in the original skate and skate 2 is good is because it's just one big level instead of 8 smaller levels. I also forgot to mention that all of the spots you fan find in skate it, you can find in skate. If you've already played skate, do not get this game. I'd rather get skate 2 for 20 dollars less. All game needs is a better career mode and better graphics, In other words, Wii, get buff
