Very Welcoming and Large-in-scale fun time!

Before I bought this game, I tried-out the mechanics and game play in the Skate 3 demo (you should too to see if you'd like it) and I was immediately addicted. The physics felt realistic and more effort-demanding, therefore offering a much more satisfying game play than Tony Hawk series ever has. But gosh darnit, it was a DEMO. The restriction (players surrounded by walls which would keep you inside the demo area) sucked, and I wanted so much more.

So, I enjoyed the demo until the actual game released.

Immediately upon purchasing and starting the full game, I felt an excitement most games usually don't offer on first impression.

This was most likely piqued by the idea that once you begin the game, the whole game is open for you to skate on! The WHOLE thing!

Already, the game introduces itself as a current-gen technologically advanced, skating simulation TOY. It isn't driven by a linear plot or episodes, it's a sandbox. Do whatever the heck you want, whether you wish to just skate, (which is enjoyable in itself) take on challenges, create a park, create a team, go online, or even make videos or take photos to post online, in-game!

I wouldn't say the possibilities are endless, but damn, the potential of fun this game has is amazing! And if the materials you start off with isn't enough, simply complete challenges and other activities to unlock merchandise (clothes, accessories) and park-creation packs.

To be general, there's a lot fun and hilarity offered in Skate 3, and if you're still not sure about buying, try out the demo and have fun!
