Big Improvement over PS2 counter part, engageing characters, and a surprizingly interesting stroyline.
Lets cut to the chase and skip the intros. In SIREN: blood curse you play 7 people over 12 DOWNLOADABLE episodes. This game has many improvements over the orginal. Enough to have it's own spot with the other horror game series I listed above.
I mean this game is definitly ORIGINAL. What I mean by this is the graphics, art style, music, characters, weapons, combat, everything. WORKS........AND WORKS D*** GOOD TOO. Because its its own game.
This is definitly its own horror game, survival horror game actually.
There was this one point in the game where I was playing a cool looking white kid. All I had was a freakin kitchen knife. Im in a dark, very dark hall wall, surrounded by very well detailed japanses house style walls. I hear numerous foot steps running torward me. I thought the whole time I was sneaking around unnoticed. Except i turned my flash light on for a second and alerted these japanese zombie looking people. You don't know why they are like this yet, you know you can't get out. So in pitch black I start swinging my knife around, Got quick and very lucky hits in on the male japanses zombie man, he dropped a handgun. ( This might sound ridiculous, but because of the story line and what not, it does look and make sense, isnt like cheesy or anything) Im basicaly freaking out swinging for my life, and accidentally pick up the revolver at my feet, the last zombie was about to hit me and I pulled the trigger at the last second for a lucky head shot, it was such a heart stopping moment i havent felt from a game in a very very long time. After I secured the zombie filled japanses house i went back to the living room to pick up this super hot japanses girl teenager that i met along the way, ( all the characters fit in the story well, just dont want to spoil anything.)
This all happinened in a matter of 40 seconds. PLEASE GIVE THIS GAME A TRY!
