A Burger without the Cheese

It's sad to say the best thing about the game was the multiple endings. What could have been immersive , intriguing , and fun is spoiled by mutton-head AI, uninspired puzzles and useless advanced weapons. You won't do any better damage outside of your Impulse and auto-cannon, although the simple rifle or shotgun is good enough. A simple time-phase dome allows you to kill even the biggest enemies (especially after upgrading to full strength) you simply freeze everybody, then just walk up and shotgun them to the back of the head. There are multiple react-able items in the environment, but for no use what so ever. The audio recordings, reminiscent of Bioshock, serve no purpose. They provide no clues, they provide no levity or atmosphere. Only one major Boss battle in the whole game, but the glaringly obvious defeat requirements let the air out of the balloon. Simply a game to run around killing stuff for a few hours, but no replay value whatsoever.
