Following on the heels of the major dissappointment that was Alan Wake, I really needed a fun game, and I found it in Singularity. This game does everything right. The game has no glitches, flaws or weak points. The story is pretty good and carries you through the game, always keeping things interesting. Gameplay is flawless and the weapons usage and TMD are very well done. Weapon and TMD upgrades are reminiscent of Bioshock, TMD is reminiscent of Bioshock plasmids and Half Life gravity gun. There is a very forgiving checkpoint system and ample ammo and health packs, but not enough to make the game too easy..until the end. There are a nice variety of enemies, from Russian troops to all sorts of various monsters and mutants. I really like the multiple endings too. The graphics are well done, as it the sound. The game in some parts looks like Russian Bioshock, in others it's more like FEAR. Overall, this is the best FPS I've played in a long time.
