Story- 9.0/10
I really can't say much about the story yet, as the game isn't a week old as I am posting this, but I will say that it works very well, with very subtle twists that keep the story alive and well, multiple endings and a great solid structure. Characters are rememberable but not very well developed, although it works, because what you know about them is all you really need to know.

Gameplay- 9.8/10
This is the strongest element of the game, by far. The guns and weapons are all very well made with very, very imaginative designs that fit the game.
The TMD (Time Manipulation Device) makes gameplay very interesting by introducing time bending puzzles, extra combat options and making you an overall badass. Although sometimes cryptic the puzzle work, make you use your brain and will occasionally test your gaming skill overall. Controls may take some getting-used-to but are all customizable and shouldn't offer any type of problem.

Graphics- 8.3/10
This game uses a dated engine, I'll put that out there right away but this game looks Great! Models are very detailed, charters look good enough and environments look and feel very realistic... except for 1 thing. Texture load times. You can enter a room moving at normal pace and have no textures loaded, all 1 color blotches all over a room. This don't happen frequently, it is very occasional but will kill a moment VERY quickly if it happens during some big firefight or awesome chase scene. The view models are wonderful but feel like something torn straight out of CoD4 at the beginning.

Sound- 9/10
Nothing groundbreaking by any means, but a great soundtrack both music and gameplay wise, guns sound great and realistic, music adds nice ambiance and extra life to gunfights. Voices sound great, creatures sound creepy, realistic and horrifying at times, clicks and pops of guns work seamlessly and there is not much else to say, just great sound.

Enjoyment- 9.8/10
This game is scary **** I have 2 strong stand out scenes engraved in my brain where I jumped clear out of my seat and was left sweating. I have also not mentioned the best feature of this game. The decapimemberments, yes, decapimemberments.

This game is not for the squeamish. I close range shotgun blast to the face spews blood like a jammed water fountain connected to a fire hydrant with an obese child crammed between. Chunks of stomachs will promptly blown off (Necromorphs?) Also, the giant boss fights are extremely satisfying

Bottom Line-
Take all of the best games from the last 5 years (Dead Space, Bioshock, Half Life 2, Gears of War, etc.) cram them into 1, add over the top violence, a good story, great sound and possible 3 playthroughts to get a full experience and you have this game!
Put this game on your buy list as a near top priority.

Final score- Considering all of the fun I had with this, all of the times I've played through this and the fun multiplayer, I'm giving this a solid 10/10
The small graphical issues are overshadowed by this remarkable game.
