SimTower puts you in the role of designing your very own tower. From placing condos and offices to putting in a Metro, you'll do them all. While there may not be very many options for building, there's enough to keep you busy. Your goal is to make a 5 star hotel, which can be quite a challenge. The graphics are decent enough. Nothing spectacular though not bad, but definintly repetitive. Your building is displayed with a side view with all the buildings open allowing you to see inside. However, the animations of the people are rather sad, and also repetitive. They atleast depict what they are pretty well so you won't have much trouble knowing where you are. Sound is a defferent matter entirely. There's no music to speak of, so I can't commen on that. The sound effects, however, are vastly repetitive. Not only that, but annoying. One sound effect that is particularly annoying is a bird screeching every few seconds. In the end I had to turn off most of the sound effects since they just got too annoying. As I said in the beginning, the concept of SimTower is simple, yet the execution can get quite a bit challenging. To reach the various Star levels you must complete a few objectives, which usually consists of adding a certain building as well as reaching a certain population limit. The challenge comes from setting the prices right to keep a good evaluation and keep tenants, construction elevators strategically, since they can only span 30 stories while your tower can reach 100, and much more. In the end SimTower will be one of those games that keeps you coming back to play it again and again. Even though the goals seem simple, and building all the rooms is simple, the addiction of just trying to reach a certain goal will keep you playing for hours!
