Broken, crazy DRM, claustrophobic maps (tiny). This is not the Sim City you were looking for, move along, move along.
I am blown away by just how ignorant EA has become. Like most companies they are looking to make a game that will give them maximum profit first. Not what consumers want. They make their millions in pre-sales. Used the good name of a classic game to bait and switch. Alas, I was one of those fools.
Also, not only are there the above failings, the game itself is completely broken. AI is simplistic and unintelligent. It is obvious what they tried to do but were unable to make their deadlines. They pulled a ton of code out and made the citizens a representation instead of actual residents. Amazing fail.
They could make it all better by allowing an offline mode with "borderless" maps to make sprawling cities. The potential for an ok game is there.
