Timeless classic...pun not intended. 360 compatible

Without getting to engrossed in the story, I will give you the basics. You play as the Prince, an angst ridden hero who is fighting for his life against humans who have been infected with the sands of time.
A hero is not any good without a weapon, right? And what a weapon the Prince has...the dagger of time. This helpful little device can slow down, reverse and stop time. This adds so much to the gameplay. Fall off a ledge into the abyss? Rewind time up to the point before you fall. So Awesome!
Besides the dagger, the prince is pretty nimble on his own. He can run on walls, swing on poles, and whatever else you can think of. This is my favorite aspect of the game. The developers at Ubisoft made an amazing level design that uses all the Prince's abilities. It is kind of like platforming for the next generation, once you play it, you do not want to go back to simple platforming ever again.
The other major strength is in the story. The story is told just like a tale out of the Arabian nights, it sucks the player in leaving them wanting more. It is simple, yet enjoyable to play through a story being told. It was a really neat aspect of the game.
My biggest issue would have to be with the combat. While it is fluid and fun, it gets repetitive after the first couple battles in the game. The enemies may get stronger or have a different moveset, but I found myself doing the same thing for every enemy. Luckily the sequels have improved this aspect of the game.
Without a doubt, this is one of my favorite series on the Xbox. And, unlike the other sequels, you can play this on the 360. So you need to stop reading this review and pick it up!...
