A very solid Maxis game. Maxis's original baby is back in it's fourth edition.

User Rating: 8.4 | SimCity 4: Deluxe Edition PC
In all reality, this is what a city Sim should be. Maxis has been (and probably always will) have a place in my heart for gaming. While there really is no defined point to Sim City, it is one of those games I keep coming back to. If you liked the original Sim City, this is the game that you should deffinately play. The Deluxe version contains both the original Sim City 4 and it's expansion pack Rush Hour. While the original Sim City 4 is fun, Rush Hour adds a bunch of missions that sort of let you get more into your city than you normally would.

If you've never played any of the Sim City games, I would give this one a try. I rated this game an 8.5, mainly because it is the best game of it's genre (City Simulation). There are a few downfalls though: The game's lasting appeal kind of tapers off once you've gotten your huge city just about full... requiring that you move to another plot of land and start over. There really is no way to keep building, with an indeffinate ammount of land. Also, while it is partially on a some what 3D engine, they are still lackiing the true 3D feel that some games like City Life offer.
