This game is a good RPG game but it can be really boring sometimes!!!!

User Rating: 7.3 | Silkroad Online PC

I played this game and I was impresed by it but also really disappointed by it.

Gameplay: If you played a RPG game before then you will probaly know what to expect from this game. In the start you can choose from 8 kinds of persons that you will start your adventure with. You can get up to level 70 in this game, you have tons of monsters to fight and a big veriaty of armor and places which you can wear or visit. But, as I played it, I had many problems with this game. First, there is no difference between the people you pick so it is a big problem cause if there was a difference between each character like in World of warcraft then it would be really great and not broing. Second is the weapons. You got only 3 kinds of weapons which is really stupid. Third, until you will get to level 16, if you are a hardcore RPG gamer then you will continue this game but if you aren't then you will be so boring that you will leave this game. Although all of these problems that are really hard to handle, this game has a lot of depth, the controlls are really good settled and the camera controlls are really easy to navigate and use.

Graphics: The graphics in this game are really impresive for a 2004 RPG game. The characters with all the armor and weapons look really nice, the areas are big and full of veriaty and the monsters look great. But we are talking about almost 2007 now and people still say that the graphics are good for a 2007 game which is full of bull crap.

Sound: The sound in this game is really well done. The weapons and monsters sounds sound really nice and the music is good but if you will play for like 7 hours then I am telling you that music is will drive you crazy unless you will turn it off.

Value: If you are a hardcore fan then you can play this game really long time. If not then you might go and try another game. The depth in this game is really long and the weapons armor collection, and quests will keep you busy for a long time. But, I just want to tell you from now that the game can get really boring at some pointes like if you are level 31, you don't have quests until level 34. That means you have to kill thousands of monsters in order to get to level 34 and get the new quests.

Reviewer's tilt: Overall, Silkroad is a fun game for anyone who is a RPG fan. You get plenty of depth, weapons, armor and areas you can check out and the quests will keep you busy for a really long time. But, because of the lack in the kinds of weapons, people and boring pointes in this game, it really blows up the perfect 10th score.
