Wow, This Astro guy (see death of horror games thread) probably wouldn't know a good game if it smacked him in the head. What makes a game great is not the title of it, not how cutting edge the graphics are, it all boils down to one question. Is this game fun? And only the individual playing the game can answer that question. I played the demo and actually liked it. Sure it's not Silent Hill like we are used to but formulas need changed up every now again to keep a player from becoming bored with the same game over and over. Besides, this seems to be a spin-off anyway. Cut Konami some slack for trying something new. I bet if the Halo, Call of Duty, or Grand Theft Auto franchises created a spin-off game that was completely different from its predecessors, fans would praise, cheer, and comend the developers for boldly taking the series in a new direction. I for one, am going to enjoy this game for what it is; an eerie and creepy dungeon crawler. It doesn't matter if it bares little resemblence to the other SH games as long as it's fun. And after playing the demo.... It is fun.
