Last Great game in Silent Hill series.
First of all, the game has a new character, Heather.What is more, its the only game who has a connection with another game in series.And its a Silent Hill sequel, the story is set up 17 yrs later, based on silent hill best ending scenario(where you take a baby from alessa), and Heather is that baby, now 17 yrs teenager, not a real Harrys daughter.
The game stars by Heather nightmare, you just play through it, then she wakes up in some kind of kafe, where you call to your dad(Harry), that you didnt got what he wanted, and youre heading home now.Later, you confront a old, strange detective, that something has to tell you about Heather birth.She do not wanted to listen, got run away into the toilet, got out from the window, and then the real game begins of our beloved horror world, full of secrets, blood, gore, and drama.
Ok enough of the plot,(it will be not interesting to play, yeah), so the gameplay is same as in earlier games, combat the same, your not a hero, your just a human with pipe, no fancy moves.And that a good thing, it wouldnt be horror if you could kill the monsters easily and be a superhero.What is new, there are some more variety of weapons, there melee weapons easy to use, but with mediocre harm level, and there are weapons that is hard to use, but witn good damage.So, you will be pleased as Silent hill fan, because the old spirit is kept up in this game.
Now, the music/sound, i think thats the most polished part of the game.Imagine this-youre walking in dark, tight, old room, its so quiet, your just hearing your footsteps, walking, and you hearing the radio signal, its very small, and the gets bigger, bigger and Bamn!On the behind the monsters attacks you!Believe me, after that youre just wanna to run away from that.
All in all, its just a good game to play, if you want to get scared, or just love playing horror games, get this one, you will not be dissapointed.
