I remember the feeling I had in 1996 when i first played a game in the survival horror genre called Resident Evil. This game scared the crap out of me. At every turn, every door that I opened. I kept telling mysef, relax it's just a game. I was immersed. Then silent hill came along and took it a step further. these guys and gals know how to get to that safe place in your head you reserve for reality checks. THIS IS GOOD STUFF, NO ONE DOES IT BETTER. The graphics are top notch, the sound....oh man...the sound in this game alone sends a chill up my spine. I'm only about a third way through because i can only take it in small doses, since i can only play it in the wee hours of the morning. You might be thinking what a.. (for lack of a better word I can't use on this site) baby. Listen I live alone in an old apartment building in brooklyn. which is scary in itself. anyway if you're a fan or slightly curious pick it up. It's one of the better games released on this system lately. I guarantee you you won't beable to play it for too long with the lights out alone. which is a good thing ....I think.
