A fun game for fans of Sid Meier.

Railroads was very fun and creative but one might say that the game was not stoked with enough coal to give me the steam to play it over and over again. I've always found trains to be fascinating and I enjoy greatly the resource management aspect of the game but it has an extremely shallow learning curve and the computers become easy to defeat quite early in the game. Even when you pit 3 competing railroads against you it ends up too easy even on Tycoon difficulty. I did find some interesting challenge in the multi-player aspect of the game. I haven't really explored that area more than 2 rounds against players who were much quicker than myself, but it definitely laid more track for me to travel on after stomping AI.
