This is an amazing pirate game. Very good graphics,music, and replay value.A lot of people who sit down and play this game will love it. I know I did. In this game you plays as a young sailor who wants to join a crew(his name is whatever you name him). You have the option of signing with the English, the Spanish, the Dutch, and *sigh*.............the French. Who ever you sign with will have different effects in the game. You must also choose the age you wish to play in. You have the option of 5 different ages(and each age has a different effect.For example, if you choose an earlier age, some items will not be avaiable).Your objectives in this game are simple.......... become the top pirate, make gold, gain reputation and fame, get all the items, marry one of the goveners daughters(there are a lot of daughters to marry), get the best pirate ships,and whatever other objectives you may have in this game. You also have to worry about age in this game. The more you play, the older you get. And that means you start to fight slower and such things of that nature. This is only a minor thing to worry about. Last, every time you devide the plunder, you have the option of retiring from piracy. This can be handy. Well, that about sums it up. I could go on but then I'd ruin the game.So if you like pirates, action, adventure, and blowing up French trade ships, this is the game for you.
