easy to get into.it takes all of the things that made Pirates! Gold so fun and adds a new twist to a few, like more entertaining sword fights.the new dancing was tricky tot get the hang of but does get tiresome fairly quick.the new trading options are only mildly useful.as in the original most of the fun is in chasing down Spanish ships 4 high seas battles.the land battles are entertaining but can be frustrating due to the diificulty in recruiting enough crewmen to attack the larger towns, your pirates are easily outclassed by the better armed soldiers.generally you need to out number them by 2-1.the new top 10 pirates list adds some overall fun/variety as they can be hard to track down, although i found most sadly easy to take down.they offer much more difficult duels than the standrd ship captians. also the story and treasure hunting add alot of fun and replayabilty. should appeal to all but the hard core shooter crowd.
