World design and animation improved a bit, linking units is a plus, thou they could make trading caravan linkable also. User interface is terrible and not at all complementary with world design. If you didn't prerecord no Aztecs for you, they rip em for DLC... Also they stripped game of many nations and leaders. All in all, same old same with a bit different look and some game-play tweaks. You wont find any evolution here, as one should, its part 6 after all.
