Sid Meier brings you the next chapter in the Civilization series. Check out the announcement trailer!
Ive never even heard of this damn game.
It looks awesome. :) I wonder if there is enough space on my computer for it...
Civilization 5 will be pretty cool.
looks like a good game, wish i had the hard drive space for it
I don't know for sure, but I suspect these are historical quotations from the icons of each civilization. The japanese one resembles Kogoro Katsura, I guess...
Great trailer, even without gameplay. "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." Great quote for this game and never was a truer thing said. I can't wait to sink hours in to Civ 5.
so, can't we freeze time yet? i sure want to have more for this game.
*drool*
waiting for it
i could live in civ...
?The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.? Is this a trailer or a lesson on what makes Civilization be a better Civilization? I loved the true epicness of it. How every diferent voice represents a diferent take on how to obtain their goal. This is golden! I have never played Civilization but I am having thoughts about this game!... Then again turned based games is not my thing.
looks amazing!
Give me 2.
No more turns! No more turns! Finally civ will use hexes instead of squares, that alone would make me play that version :)
God I hate the bank of nikolai advertisement
can't wait to play it :D
Once more Sid comes out with a new drug for the masses.
They have gameplay footage and it looks awesome. Its in a different video though.
Can't wait for this game...awesome trailer!
I look forward to seeing what it actually looks like. It's easy for a game to look good when all they show is movies of non-gameplay.
Nice trailer, I suspect ill need to upgrade my pc for this one.
I wonder if they will put in the really new-prototype-fantasy techs like plasma sabers, fusinon reactors and nano fibers and such. What do you think?
i love these epic feeling trailers.
Well it's a nice trailer, but what about the game? How different can they make it in relation to I,II,III and IV?
nice! should be much much much better than Supreme commander 2
This looks sick
I love this game!
the CGI videos keep getting better and better. For some reason I hope this comes out for PC AND Mac!
Nice
I must say I am far.. Very far from this type of game. But if this ends up as good as they are saying in that vid!?! I will be getting in to it very easy
wowwwww!!!
Iron_zealot7531@ I just came too! let's have a sticky hi-five!!!
Wow, great vid. Is it fall yet?
i came
trailer looks sick .. i'm impressed ..
@ enterawesome : " That's it. I'm getting a gaming PC. I can't miss out on a new Civ." Or wait for Onlive, and see if that thing will deliver, it might save you a bit. although a gaming pc is not just useful for gaming.
Civ games are funny things...they aren't my favorite genre by any means, but they are, without fail, truly amazing games, and anyone who has ever enjoyed a Civ game will agree...without fail, there will be many an hour of sleep lost this fall.
I really hoped they would remake Alpha Centauri, but Civ V will do.
That's it. I'm getting a gaming PC. I can't miss out on a new Civ.
Time to lose some sleep when this comes out!
@ taffelost and jeremiahx99 it's keith david, who did play captain anderson in mass effect
@jeremiahx99 I think he sounds like Laurence Fishburn. It wouldn't surprise me if it's him.
haha the first guy sounds like captain anderson from mass effect 1 & 2
@ iron_zealot7531 That's not Martin Sheen on the second quote. I'm not sure who it is, but it sure as hell isn't him.
keith david for the first quote martin sheen for the second who we're the others?
freaking amazing trailer gives me chills
Really want this..so...very...much
Can't wait. Hope it doesn't have a crippling memory leak problem like the first one at release which rendered it unplayable in late game. =\
I think most of the quotes in there are from famous people.
