It's the perfect Civ to play on my couch.

It's fan favorite Civ, for a console. It's the perfect Civ to play on my couch. Very rarely do I find myself missing a feature from the various PC versions. It's not as deep as playing on the PC, but that leads to faster games that can be played in one or two sittings.

Major differences for veteran Civ players:
1. There are no worker units. City resource tiles are improved by building new city improvements (iron mine) or by discovering technologies (game=feudalism, gold=currency). Roads are built instantly on the city screen, for money.

2. You can't customize your civilization. You have to choose one of the existing Civs. You can name your own cities, but not your 1st one (on easier levels). You also can't rename captured cities.

All in all though, it is a perfect console Civ experience.
