Is it possible to play offline multiplayer?

On the cover it says that it is possible but I cant find
that option anywhere,so the real question is is it
possible to play offline multiplayer and how?

On my back of the box it says in order:

1-4 players, 687 kb minimum, HD thing Network Features, 2-4 Network players

the only way to play multiplayer offline is to have 2 tv's, 2 ps3's and 2 copies of the game. you need an ethernet cord as well to connect the ps3's together. select LAN party in multiplayer and your good to go.

There is no possible way to play with two people on the same ps3 your would need to do what sagacious123 said.
