Another fine addition to the Civ franchise.

User Rating: 9.5 | Sid Meier's Civilization III: Complete PC
First, let me get the obvious out of the way: if you enjoyed any of the previous incarnations of Civilization, you must get Civ III: Complete. This new rendering of this venerable franchise improves on the game in numerous ways -- updated graphics, new technologies and wonders, and improved civ advances. Further, this edition includes around 3 dozen different civilizations, so there is no shortage of variety in the possible races to play. But, best of all, as this is a compilation package, it includes the scenarios that came with the "Conquest" expansion. Here, you can play through various eras of history -- the rise of Egypt, the fall of the Roman empire, the growth of the Indian empires in South America, the rise of the Shogun in Japan, the Napoleonic Wars and World War II in the Pacific. Each scenario has distinct objectives, which add to the flavor of the game and give it great replayability. So, for anyone looking for that "just one more turn"-style of gaming that the Civ series is so famous for, look no further: Civ III Complete will feed that addiction, and more.
