if future wars is going to be like that, then we need underground bomb shelter for every home.
1 Like its a catch-22 scenario. We've all seen terminator, I-robot and now the warnings offered by BLOPS2. Ultimately we all know how this is going to end. But these systems are are global pursuit, not just that of one country, and no country wants to get left behind. Because peace is the result of a combination of Military force, deterrence, trade and Political sway. for example, it'd be foolish to attack the largest airforce in the world in China, or to attack America who set the precedent for the use of Nuclear arms.
These automated systems are no different than Nukes. Everyone's gotta have them because otherwise deterrence wouldn't work. Can't live with them, can't live without them.
