To me it seems that Blizzard waited until Valve was almost done with the game as a slap in the face. They could have done this much earlier but instead they chose to do it towards it's release. Screw Blizzard.

Well, IMO, it is just right for Valve to register DOTA as their own as long as Icefrog is with them.

Blizzard, keep your hands out of other people's hard work. Don't be upset that someone else got the idea for the sequel to a game mode you didn't make.

IMO, Blizzard doesn't really care with the community, Blizzard only trying to oppose Valve from trademarking the term because recently they're promoting their uncreatively-named game called Blizzard Dota. I'll say, both of them should just let go with the term and change it, especially Blizzard. It's like saying HoN is S2 Dota. They only use the term for the sake of marketing only and it's just ugly.

Why would Blizzard only raise the issue so late into the games development. They never had a hold over the product and Valve made the right move. As an aside, I was browsing the BBC website and Jane popped up on an article. You sounded very posh Jane... Was that put on because you were with the Beeb or has simply being around these lot "common'd" you up a bit.

I am not sure how Blizzard itself has contributed to the development of the original Defense of the Ancients. But then, I am not a follower of that mod.

What? If Blizzard delays Dota2 release they are dead to me. To be honest valve will probably do a better job with graphics and story whilst Blizzard will do a better job with gameplay because of experience. But if the maker of Dota2 really did join with Valve then it would probably be better. Um, so yeah, Blizzard you stay away!

Love the show but a technical question.. Why do you post the HD videos as .MOV? (on itunes) I appreciate that you need to stick to a single format for simplicity, but why not MP4? as my PS3 (and I'm assuming PSP) hates .MOV meaning I have to convert before enjoying on my sofa. Why is Blizzard just now voicing it's outrage about Valve stealing the DotA title? I figured they worked that out long before the DotA 2 tournament. It seems like they gave up ownership of the title due to lack of action over the past couple of years that the game was in development.

I've only guessed Jane's character correct in skyrim.... and about mass effect 4,5 or even 6... I believe they are going to be the same as they always do... I've a great time playing mass effect 2, waiting for ME 3 makes me mad :) and about Kingdom of amalur - Reckoning, the combat mechanism is awesome, has a lot of combos to rip off the enemies, i like it.

I have been a huge fan of DOTA since the early days played the game with my mates day & night, I must have atleast a thousand games under my belt and not once did I play it on blizzard online, I dont even own an original copy of WC ( I dont support piracy ) but the DOTA community itself even the pros never play game on blizzard online. This game was the brainchild of icefrog and blizzard is just a frkin free loader and when I was told that icefrog making a whole new game with the CS guys without any of the stupid warcraft cr@p, I was really really happy but it was obvious to me even then that blizzard wont let this happen so easily! Dont you guys make enuf money with WOW, SC, MW stop mooching on icefrog!
