A first person Dead Space is a moronic idea. As is a Dead Space flight simulator. EA, you stumbled on something awesome, and now you're just milking it. Also, bit of advice about making DS3 co-op face: Just look at the player reaction to RE5.

One of my favorite parts of the Dead Space games is being able to see my suit upgrades and such. FPS's have there place. Just not my Dead Space please!!!!!!

I haven't had many problems with Skyrim bugs, but I have noticed a lag when I'm trying to bring up my items/magic/etc. It sometimes will take a while to actually recognize that I'm trying to select something. But it usually always comes back, and I haven't had much lag otherwise :)

maybe for the dead space fps theyll explore the miner wars or whatever they were called. they mention them in dead space extraction. maybe thats when the very first infestation started?

i just uaually spray a pesticide on my ps3 and it gets rid of all bugs prior and after patches so im good! no problems here so far.great game skyrim!!

Ezio's costume as a download content sounds good but, just because one looks bad-ass doesn't make them play a bad-ass. Dead Space as FPS. Not so sure about that, It is already frightening series as third-prerson shooter. I doubt it would better as a FPS. I was tempted to stop playing it in the first game and I kept fighting these freaks of nature through the second one.

Dead Space is one of the best game ive played so do not ruin it EA.Keep it in 3rd person

360 patch for skyrim plays fine. the ezio costume is just epic lol

I Love Dead Space but i like the whole third person cause isaacs suit looks badass but a fps does seem like it could work in the series. I like learning about new characters that were there during the necromorph outbreaks although a ship flying game seems lame :P

the only reason dead space franchise isnt doing as hot as uncharted franchise is coz of the horrible HORRIBLE spin offs including the stupid puzzle game and both movies. i liked the comics and the book was top notch. if the same team that developed isaac's saga isnt making the new spin offs they are going to be horrible too. and an fps seems fitting for its story and if the action game keeps the horror-survival feeling it should be awesome but a ship driving game? how is that going to feel scary? and no dlc for pc users? great move ea -.-

@i_like_pie223: Dead Space RTS, I don't think would work, necromorphs aren't know to have their capital ships and fly their fighter squadrons... Or do you mean ground RPS? Dead Space: Total War seems even worse. BUT, Mass Effect space RTS could be nice: Council Fleet vs Reapers or even the First Contact War. I would love a new tactical space strategy game and the ME universe sure provides a good setting.

PC version of skyrim actually seems relatively stable; I haven't encountered any major bug yet. To be honest, the consoles are already outdated hardware wise, so it's no big surprise that they're having issues running skyrim. I wonder how much better skyrim could have looked if it was made specifically for pc rather than some console porting. Assassins' creed in FF? That just smacks of blatent in-game promotions/advertising. A pure fantasy game mixing with a (sort of) historical game; they just don't go together imho. And what's with this dead space fps -> isn't that just Doom? Sad to see that modern gaming is so purely driven by money money money, rather than taking pride in developing quality games to be proud of.

@Cobrathriller 1st person means you are playing the game looking through your own eyes so you don't see yourself - usually only your arms (holding gun, sword, pizza etc.) 3rd person means you are looking at your character - usually from behind and it is somewhat obscuring your view but you can see how it interacts in the world better. 2nd person means you would see yourself but through the eyes of whoever you were interacting with - so if you were fighting a drake in Dragon Age for instance - you would see your party launching it's attacks at you (weird). Does anybody know any games that use this mechanic? Glad to hear about the Skyrim patch - not glad to hear about rimlag (I'm glad I don't eat marmite).

Even though I'm a fan of the AC series, it seems to me what they are doing with FF13-2 is kind of like the horse armour DLC they had for Oblivion, just kinda stupid in my opinion.

We always knew EA were evil but are they really determined to strangle the life out of every project they're involved in. I mean if dead space 3 is going co-op focused I guess next thing they'll tell us is that mass effect 3 has gone fps. All this pandering after a larger audience just seems to lower the quality of the games. Damn kitten eating execs.

dead space fps is a great idea, doom all over again with new twists.

People should be given a choice between 1st and 3rd person view in game most games already support that type of thing so it dont upset the fans of the dead space.

Having character costume collaborations in video games is great because the games feel more diversified.

Fixing the glitches just makees Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim even better which makes it even more rrecommendable.

I think to offering this A.C. costume as DLC is asking for trouble. This will probably spark a war console-exclusive content. (Kratos, Master Chief, Blah, Blah-blah.) And then all the Phillip's CD-i fans will be begging for a Wand of Gamelon download. And that will be the harbinger of the end for all humanity. (Scots included.)

3rd person, 1st person... I don't. ahmm... just about few months ago even started with 1st person. i mean shooters, but they have to be science-fictive or fantasy/horror. what is 3rd person then ?? and 2nd? i don't really get it. my favourites will stay adventuress, action adventures and race/action games. but honestly. please someone writes a shoert description of the 1,2,3,and on person thing. it's probably because i am not grown in any english speaking region. .. Dead Space RTS? Anyone? No? Fine! But I'm getting sick of the FPS genre dominating the market and influencing everything else.

It seems to me that people just read the title saying "FPS Dead Space" and didn't bother to actually watch the video. I fail to see how them making an FPS spin-off and Uncharted style spin-off (whatever the hell that means) is going to destroy what made the first two games so great. They said that they weren't affecting the 3rd game and are just spin-offs to I guess make more money. Dead Space is one of my favorite game series to date, but you guys need to stop being fanboys. No one freaked out this hard when they made the one on the Wii. Try to be rational please and stop spazzing out before even seeing anything about the projects.

Regarding Skyrim (PS3), pre-patch I had three freezes and some sporadic lag in about 100 hours of game play, and post-patch (so far) I've experienced no freezes and much less lag in about 10 hours of play, Too early to tell, but so far so good. However, I was hoping some other problems would be fixed, which weren't. Most notable are two seperate quests which are stalled because something didn't trigger properly (though neither is part of a main quest).
