It should be early and free! Early still means we are paying...EA knows how to screw...as usual. Seriously they have become the definition of scumbags in the gaming world.

...Also, couldn't care less about getting BF3 DLC a little earlier than other consoles, if it wasn't for the fact I already got 1943 with BF:BC2 I'de be pretty pissed I didn't get that, its a great game to just throw on every now and then

I'de kill for another MGS. KILL. Even as a producer Hideo will do just fine, and as the series gets more and more batsh!t crazy, I really cant wait. Still can't justify buying the whole series again in HD though, especially as it doesn't even include MGS1. Also, Snake on the toilet gag was brilliant...

So that's two blatent lies Sony made at E3. Battlefield 3 and Saints Row 3... Both promised exclusive stuff, neither delivered. And Kojima has been saying he'll be hands off since MGS2. He's not once managed it. MGS3 was supposed to be an entirely solo effort by the team with no Kojima, but he still stepped in to shove his influence in.

I will become more interested with the 'Metal Gear Solid' series when the series is more action oriented.

Having Battlefield 1943 with 'Battlefield 3' would be great cause it would likely boost the sales.

Early BF3 DLC>>>Crap43 for Free. Seriously 1943 blows in comparison. I have 1943 and I don't even consider it good nor would I ever play it again after BC2/BF3... Your not missing anything except dated textures and dated gameplay.

@bigruss51 You said "A promise is a promise" so I assumed you played on PS3. I was implying that half the people who are butt hurt over there not being a copy of Battlefield 1943 had no idea that there was even suppose to be a Battlefield 1943 copy in the first place.

@CLOCKWORKIAN I know Kojima is probably being told by Konami to cook up something new. I felt MGS4 ended well, I don't feel there's any need to make another. Unless the story is THAT good, then I'd think it'd taint the Metal Gear Solid name and give a certain feel of disappointment among the entire series if a naff one was made. I'd be saying to myself, "Why ruin a successful run". Obviously big companies don't give a rats ass if that happens, money is money after all. Like God of War, there is a chance another is coming but I don't see what it can add apart from a mediocre multiplayer experience. Games like COD, BF3 and other major titles will simply deduct from it. It'd be one of those experiences where it's fun for a short while but gets boring rather quickly. I will admit though with Battlefield 3's joke frame rate on the PS3, my patience with that game is running thin. @ReadySebbyGo - Please fix the inbox comments thing. Half the time I click "See it and Respond here" I get a blank page. On BF3 - The other day I noticed that Gamespot said Skyrim had poor performance, yet you didn't add that to the PS3 version of BF3. BF3 is worse, as much as I hate to admit it. Skyrims performance is bug based but for the most part it's smooth and sticks to its 30fps. BF3 on the other hand, spends more time choppin' around at 15-20fps on most maps. Not bug related either. Use your media power to own them please! I want it fixed lol.

Did people really buy battlefield3 based on the promise of getting Battlefield 1943 free? Nice to know thousands of dollars will be spent litigating over hurt feeling from not being able to play an old game.

Guess I should sue the manufacturer of my car because it doesn't wipe my backside for me whenever I get into it. I have no love for big industry...but ppl have serious entitlement issues these days. I never heard a single peep about EA offering a BF3/BF1943 bundle, so I'd venture the guess that this announcement was made long ago and was not very broadly advertised. IE: the plaintiffs in this case will have no ground to stand on. A waste of the courts time...yet again.

@ReadySebbyGo Don't listen to this idiot Seb, you are doing an awesome job mate! On BF3 being sued, I highly doubt they will succeed as EA did not hide the fact that BF1943 would'nt be shipped with the game some time before the release. Give me a gatling gun and everything will be forgotten...

MGS5?...I think the series has pretty much died out this generation because of the long wait for games of the series

EA has damaged the game industry in many ways. A good suing sounds like exactly what they need.

EA is full of s*** they knew they weren't shipping BF1943 when the game went gold yet they were hoping we would forget the only way they could have fixed that would be to offer the dlc for free or at least for a significant discount but even then that leaves people with the LE getting nothing im GLaD they are getting sued i really need to pick up MGS4 if the fifth game is coming i really enjoyed the previous 2 games even though i never played the first one :S

EA should be Sued. Awful Company. This is a Company who was at its peak of the Gaming Industry, and sold their souls for profit by dumbing down their games to the point they're total garbage. Their Sports Games as well. MONEY and competing with Modern Warfail buried them. Fact is BF 43 is probably much BETTER than BF 3 given its solid gameplay and much better Graphics. Total ripoff.

After reading the comments, I think its awesome that everybody responds to MGS5 news, but only one or two people actually care about EA getting sued.

itchyflop This isn't just one map like the free once. This is 4 maps, 1 new game mode, 10 weapons, 3 vehicles, so this is more like Battlefield 2 Special Forces, which you also had to buy. And it's not even expensive. Did Sony get sued of the Killzone 2 CGI crap they pulled? This is no different, long time before release, things change, check the package you buy it, so you know what you get. Also, I guess 99%+ didn't even know of the 1943 that bought the game.

I can appreciate people are disappointed, but seriously - can we all stop suing each other over things so trivial?? If you're unhappy with the broken promise then don't buy the game. Or take it back. To be honest, you should just be playing Skyrim anyways, so . . . .

EA shouldn't be allowed to do it and by fobbing us off with early release of new maps, they should be free then don't you agree??? EA will make you buy the 1942 maps now....
