@ChimpanzeeUK I agree. But I'll at least chuckle if MS comes up with nothing more imaginative and they do go with Xbox 720.

Nevermind being mad about it! I'm so happy it's free! M$ finally gave us something free! Oh my God! And when my dad and I first saw the Real Steel advertisement we both thought,"Wow. Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots the movie." Funny that others thought the same thing.Though not surprising I guess.

Pfft. XBox 720 BLATANTLY isn't the next XBox. I think what they're trying to tell us is that Microsoft plan on releasing 359 new consoles between now and whenever the film is set. :) Honestly, "Xbox 720" is so widely used in jest when referring to the hypothetical 360 successor, I think they're just getting in on the joke. I think Microsoft /might/ have checked the movie's release date with the film's producers before accidentally letting them reveal their next console via a flash of make-believe billboard in the background of a movie. :D

Gotta love how movies keep revealing marketing ahead of the official release announcements. Take Resistance 3 in Battle Los Angeles for example.
