Danny builds a dungeon, fills it with monsters, and kills a bunch of dwarfs.
Hi Danny hope yr feeling better. Please consider Shadows of Rome for some amusing chop-chop style antics
I love that game, still playing it after all these years, nobody's ever made another one like it. The first one is very similar. I keep a W95 laptop in shape just to play old games like it. Is that sick or what? Thanks for featuring it. I keep thinking somebody's gotta make something like that again. That "Bwahahahahahaha this is my evil empire" feeling is sooo sweet.
You guys should do Star Conflict- it's free on Steam, and it's an AMAZINGLY fun game, in the same way that Chivalry is, or World of Tanks, or Warhawk- very pick-up-and-play PvP with unlockable components :D
Danny great video would you consider playing Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood (2002) ...
Yep, just as _Judas_ really love this show - watch it every day although don't always get to to comment!
This game has wonderful ideas; so other game suggestions are: Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning [2012] and Spec Ops: The Line [2012].
why not play a classic old shoot um up like katikis r -type beater if you have a copy amiga classic, or delta cbm 64 . I still love a good shoot um up bring back my youth please I love u danny
Why nobody ever picked up where this game left off for me is strange, it was an awesome game. Man the Avatar in the first Dungeon keeper was awesome...40 minions vs the Avatar...good times!
This game sums up most PC gamers, horny demons that never leave their dungeons. Classic game :)
Hey, Danny, I want to suggest a Random Encounter of Thief: The Dark Project Gold.
Lets do Master of Magic, old forgotten game wich is predecessor of heroes of might and magic and is much better then any heroes part, in master of magic have undergrund maps etc, only now homm 6 implemented this idea, homm is almost clone of master of magic, one of the best games like x com, microprose product also!
@666NightsInHell Several games in the past couple of years have tried to make a Master of Magic like game and failed hard. MoM had very different units, play styles, and spells that made it great. I loved creating artifacts and having my champs own, but there were counters for all unit types. Magic immune got owned by arrows, mages beat archers, magic immune beats magic...
@666NightsInHell The underground maps were implemented in Heroes of Might and Magic III.
One of the best games i played! Why no one cant make improved remake, pure remake like old game, games liek Dungeon and Impire is different, i want PURE IMPROVED CLONE not remake to somethiing else like new X COM where old one is 100 times better!
Oh no, all that and we didn't get to see a dark mistress torturing adventurers to make them change sides? Ah well, I guess you shouldn't give it all away...
@Gigga_Jabba I liked slapping the chickens into feathers! Still get a laugh outta that. SLAP!
Or slapping the heros around... great big hand outta nowhere... SMACK!
@Ihatepickaname @Gigga_Jabba Haha, i love it too! But i really love the sound and feel when chopping down dirt walls and exploring into the unknown as an imp :D
Fun to also get a minstress torturing another mistress ;D
@Gigga_Jabba @Ihatepickaname LOL, slapping the Hero... while he's in his little castle.... hee hee hee.... the little cry of dismay....
imps dragging corpses to the graveyard.... to be resurrected as vampires to serve me.... now go be a good vamp and pray in the temple... get me some mana so i can lightning this attacking hero....
goood... goood.... maybe i'll let you play in the casino... briefly
Good ol' dungeon keeper. Back in the days when picking up a new game meant a new experience.
I revisited it last year. It's a great game series but could still be improved a lot.
I know you like your old FPS games Danny. Jebus knows I've played them all myself but it's nice to see you play other genres on this show once in a while :)
Since you do like them shooterz ..have you done the original "Unreal" on the show yet? I'm guessing you're not going to do "Timesplitters 2" for me since it's a console game but it's one of the best imo.
@dannyodwyer yo man don't really post on the comments but since you haven't already played it; how about giving the hugely underrated PC strategy game BattleZone a try? Or battlezone 2, I'd prefer battlezone 1 though. It's got a great story and a really unique take on first person real time strategy.
@electroban @dannyodwyer I havent seen any games like Battle Zone since or at least anyones decently good. They blended RTS and FPS so well and the keys werent bad so you could manage your base while controlling a unit. Versus todays RTS games like Starcraft 2 the RTS is lacking, but it is still fun.
Danny is very quiet when he's enjoying the game. And Danny I did not forget, "Sacrifice" by Shiny.
@RogerioFM That was fun, though the best parts are toward the end when you're tossing around tornadoes and summoning a giant angel of death. Oh, and it had the best credits ever!
I first got an account here at GameSpot so I could read the Sacrifice game guide.
I loved this game so much back in the day! Classic. I wish someone would make a Dungeon Keeper 3.
I've got Dungeon Keeper 1 in my backlog (over at GOG.com). I haven't even gotten a chance to play it yet, sadly, but I will hopefully get to the first one soon.
