Random Encounter - Devil May Cry
- Jan 14, 2013
Danny and Martin return to a world of creepy marionettes and rusty keys as they play the original Devil May Cry.
And Danny I'm loving the show (first time I watched was today) but for Christ's sake, you can't play to save your life! I died a lot in this boss back in 2002 and I was even afraid that I had to go through that pain again when replaying it last year. To my surprise, he was dead by the second attempt.
I remember thinking this game was hard as balls back in the day. Then I replayed it last year when HD Collection came out and that was a breeze which made me realise that the game seemed so hard because I couldn't even be used to this new hack'n'slash style DMC brought to the table.
At the bit when he gets stabbed and shows his arm on the floor, it looks like it has been cut off/ not connected to the rest of the body (6:17)
I remember this game seeming so much more awesome when I first played it!
I know these games run at 60 frames per second but damn does your recording equipment make it look choppy.
Had fantastic fun watching the video.
Old games had a charm to them that you just can't find these days.
I don't know why CAPCOM felt the game needed a reboot, the gothic architecture and cool atmosphere on display here feels plenty fresh.
Also I think it says something that you could barely get past the first thing with a health bar. *sigh* The good old days...
@garysingh34 I haven't watched the video yet, but they're probably playing the re-release from some months back.
Interesting to see how little this series has evolved - this and DMC4 are literally the same game, with only graphical differences. Oh and the 'story' in this seems even more nonsensical than 4, which I didn't think was possible. Good show!
This was an excellent game and I like how is it is more action oriented than Resident Evil; for the next game how about: Hard Corps- Uprising .
These guys have really good chemistry, I can't wait to see more of this stuff from them. Also, the live show is amazing because of all the "bonus material".
That was some funny stuff, back when I played DMC for the first time I already thought it felt aged, today it was must be hilarious to go through the whole thing.
wtf?! what kind of work is this? 11 mins of making fun of one of the best and memorable games ever and laughing at it?!! what kind of gamers are you?! I think you guys are working for Caplol too!
i do regret only playin 20 mins of this back in the day...although i did enjoy it, cant remember why i stopped playing, may catch up with the HD remakes..top show
