i sent a message to some of the gamespot empolyees asking when on the spot will be up and running for good. I also asked about button mashing and TTV. but i get n replys ever!! this is just a suggestion, but maybe everyone should message Brian Ekberg and tell him to improve the show, and bring back the other shows :P

There will also be a GDC Special episode of On the Spot on 3/25 at 4 p.m. PT in the old format.

Besides the comments here, are people contacting the show's producer(s), or the parent company and making it clear what's wanted and/or how it makes you feel? I'm not tracking any forums dealing with On the Spot, so I don't know if the Spotter's are taking their contacts from here, or what, and yes, I'm greatly disappointed in the lack of On the Spot, but just wondering. . .

No GDC Live Video coverage? No on the spot since december 08 and than this ridiculous EA PR-Event??? WtF is going on? I am really pissed off.

Im just fed up with gamespot now. It was pointless doing the EA video if you aint going to carry on with the show week in week out. Just goes to show they dont know wot they are doing. IM NOT HAPPY and im sure other gamespot users are pissed off too. You said the show would be starting in march and ur deadline is nearly up!!

instead of spending so much time and probably money to update the show, they should have spent all this time to try to hire someone/somebody with great personality and humour. Because that's what gamespot needs. It was the people that made Gamespot.

i really hope gamespot pulls up their socks and starts turning the site into the best gaming site like before... i miss the old gamespot:(

seriously, what is going on with gamespot. The reviews are coming up later than usual and no OTS for about 3 months. Soon March is over and still no info about a new show. How did GS go from being the best gaming site that exists, to this???

Yeah i miss a lot of the really good people that left (or got fired from) gamespot. They made it a great site, but it's gone downhill since then. P.S. Carrie Gouskos was awesome too, you have to mention her!

WOW! Giantbomb.com is soo cool. I am loving it. Real quality. Gamespot have a thing or two to learn from this truly great games site. Great journalism, quality content and intelligent....what gamespot used to be. A reburbishment is not going to provide absorbing content...come on guys, you can do it.

Wow gamespot has done it for me!!! all i looked forward to was the live weekly show on the spot !!! i thought they had it back on and running( even though it was the most horrible show that ive come to witness) and to my surprise they are not back!!! Gamespot my hopes for you guys are done! this is only the beggining to the end of your SITE!!!!!

Oh what a surprise - the weekly visit to Gamespot to see of the show is finally back and nope - another let down... I guess some EA commercial thingy is better than nothing, but how hard can it be for someone to make a choice and inform the site's users.. The state of Gamespot reaches a new low - what a shame! :(

Tony1661: That's what i've been saying. They only showed us that one episode about EA because they saw all the negative comments here. So they felt like they had to show something to us so we would stop with the negative comments. This is ridiculous (spelling?), no show for 3 months??? SO unprofessional. This would never have happened during the good old days.

It's not just Kirstin thats changed. I bet they have gutted the rest of the staff, like they did at 1UP. If you want to see the best of the gamespot best check out GiantBomb.com. They don't have a video show but they got a great podcast.

@garethross Ryan was talking about doing something for GDC in this episode, so we might see another episode next week.
