*sigh* I can't believe what an atrocity that Gamespot has become. Two years back, I was fond of this site. It had to sort of personal video reviews where we actually knew the Gamespot staff, well half of them really. And they have a live show, Tournament TV, a podcast they had it all!!!!!! I can't believe in only a year's period Gamespot had literally turned to nothing. Who's gonna review the games now? Ryan's gone, Jeff and Alex. Who's gonna help Ryan Macdonald do OTS or The Hotspot? F**k, I really dunno who to turn to for gaming news now.

I hope CNET are proud as their mighty GS site is fast unravelling to nothingness. I have to admire these GS guys Alex & Ryan Davis for walking out becauase of what happened with Jeff. It really sucks that they worked their asses off to make this site what it is today and wont be the same without them. Hope Ryan McDonald takes the high road too and joins them.

I wonder who the new co-host will be. I say Joe or Homer.

This is the first time I've visited this site since Jeff was fired (although I do still listen to the UK podcast). Couldn't believe how many other staff have quit since then! I've defected to 1-Up. I like their podcasts better (the 1-Up show takes a bit of getting used to but it's actually much better than On The Spot IMHO) and the reviews are much more balanced. For local UK news, and forums I use Eurogamer.net. Shame about Gamespot, but I suppose all great empires must eventually fall...

the episode was ok. lost planet looks good, pursuit force extreme justice looks good and exciting. culdcept saga looked cool but still i have seen better games in that category.

On the spot is ok,but they have to show more games and extend the show. Tournament Tv in my opinion is way better,like Ive kind of said before,they have to have game fighting tournaments like SF:3 Third Strike,Guitly Gear XX Accent Accore,kind of mix it up a little bit. I hope they bring button mashing back,man I miss that show.Anyhow they are doing a fair job in keeping up with the shows.

I support gamespot honest rating thats why i respect the editors. what the f#%^ does CNET know about games, they are only good for establishing a corporate entity on the internet and making it look good, leave the editing decisions to the people who actually devote their lives to writing about games, CNET CORPORATE **** THE MANEGER WHO CANNED JEFF SHOULD BE FIRED IT HAS DONE MORE HARM THEN GOOD. That intro was HORRENDOUS, almost made me not watch it, pursuit force looks awesome, starwars looks cool, wii shooter seems interesting, but, umm, OntheSpot has definitely gone downhill. Only Ryan D. is funny. Charles Barkley game is made of win.

I think On the Spot has received more than its fair share of criticism. Ryan Mc. has stepped up as host and is doing a great job and Ryan D. is fantastic in his role. Brian is an important member and his presence on the show adds another layer of quality. The show works. Accept it for what its become. Personally, the show feels for me: more sincere, more relaxed and I like it.

GameSpot sucks and so does everything that comes out of it. I don't even trust their once legendary reviews. Gamespot is a broken, sinking ship that needs to be put out of its misery. Jees writing this is making me depressed, I'd better go do something fun. *Goes to Ign*
